She Rises was born from a shared vision: to create a space where women can come together, show up as they truly are, and feel safe enough to be seen, heard and celebrated.
A space where you don't have to fit into a box, have it all figured out, or be anything other than yourself.
Where you can dance freely, speak your truth, explore something new, sit in stillness, laugh until your cheeks hurt, or allow yourself to be supported when life feels heavy.
A space where you can arrive as you are and know that you belong.
Because there is something powerful about what happens when we come together in community. When we make room for one another's stories, honour our differences, celebrate each other's growth and remember that we don't have to do life alone.
This is the heart of She Rises.
More than a festival, it's a community built on connection, authenticity, compassion and the belief that we are all worthy of spaces where we can fully be ourselves.
The Women Behind She Rises
She Rises was created by Shannon and Candice, two women who share a deep passion for connection, community and creating meaningful experiences that bring people together.
Together, they envisioned a gathering where women could step outside the expectations of everyday life and into a space that welcomes all of who they are.
A place to explore, express, connect, heal, play and grow — without the pressure to be perfect or the expectation to have it all together.
Their intention is to cultivate an environment where people feel held and supported, where individuality is celebrated, and where genuine connection can unfold naturally.
From the workshops and experiences to the land, the community and the moments in between, every part of She Rises is an opportunity to create something meaningful together.
And while the festival continues to grow and evolve, the heart behind it remains the same:
To bring people together in a space where they feel safe to be themselves, supported in their journeys, and reminded of the power of community.

We believe that when people feel safe enough to show up authentically, beautiful things can happen.
